Walking Groups

Members of each walking group are given a programme of walks by their Group Leader. Anyone needing a lift to the start point should contact the group leader. Numbers are limited in the interest of safety and footwear with a good grip is essential. Waterproofs should be carried.

All-day walks of 8 - 10 miles, usually within 15 miles of Guildford. Terrain is often undulating or hilly. Time is taken for viewing, learning about and enjoying the countryside. A pub lunch is arranged for each walk. All walkers are expected to take responsibility for organising and leading a walk.
