Badminton

Code: 159

The sport's origins go back 2000 years; the modern form with a net developed in India in the 1800s was called Poon. It was brought back to England by Army Officers. It was introduced to guests at the Duke of Beaufort's family home at Badminton where it gained its popularity. The game is lively and is an enjoyable way to meet people and take some brisk exercise. No previous experience needed.

Please note this group is charged @ £2.00 per session payable in blocks of 5 sessions in advance
