This course is for anyone who likes to talk about theatre and to learn of possibly forgotten plays. We discuss plays we have seen recently and at each session a different playwright’s work is examined; a specific work is read and then taken home to finish.

We read a complete play each session. This leaves no time for formal criticism but we usually manage an impromptu discussion on the play’s merits, or otherwise, during the 'tea interval'. Selected works range from Molière comedies to modern dramas.
